It's just a small report, but it also was a small action (but great!): My friends and I celebrated buy nothing day 98 on a "famous shopping highway" in vienna. It was a great experiance for me, because in general I do not like demonstrations or things like that...I normally feel a lot of negativity and counterproductivity, especially when there is police involved.

But our "buy nothing day" was really positiv. Most people who came along got from us paper (already used) with "buy nothing" (in six languages, also in latin!) written on it...and they liked it, because in that time we (a friend was dressed as Santa Claus) were the only ones for them who said "buy nothing".

The rest of the consumer-world said "consume", "buy" or - if you concentrate you can hear: "obey". I really love buy nothing day!
